The Judas Sheep

Detective Inspector Charlie Priest is officially on sick leave but this is ended abruptly when Mrs Marina Norris's chauffeur is found dead from unnatural causes - namely a blast from a Kalashnikov. Mrs Norris has not been home since the murder but her millionaire American husband seems distinctly unfazed by this. Although Charlie is convinced there is a link he has few leads and reluctantly agrees to come off the case. Meanwhile some big-time drug smugglers on the Hull-Rotterdam run demanding his attention. His contact Kevin is a lowly cog in the smuggling wheel but the real villains are not such a pushover...
